Colorado Parks and Wildlife celebrates Bat Week Oct. 24-31, an annual international recognition of the important role that these flying mammals play in nature. This event is an opportunity to get to know these wonderful animals that are vital to our health, environment, and economy - and also add some intrigue to Halloween.

The Halloween Train is riding the rails again the end of this month. Back by popular demand, this ghoulish train ride runs October 26-27, 12:30 and 5 p.m., and October 28 at 12:30 p.m.
Ghastly ghosts and spine-chilling goblins, along with a family friendly costume parade, trick or treating on the train, Halloween games and some seriously creepy Halloween music, await the bravest souls who dare to ride.
While on board, guests may order lunch or dinner and drinks from the 403 Grill, featuring a ghoulish selection of fall brews, wines and other goodies. It's a whole lotta Spooktacular Halloween Train fun!
